Barber Hairdresser Makeup Artist
Become a Barber - Hairdresser training - Makeup Artist
In the Barber - Hairdresser training course the student intensively studies the art of hairdressing in theory and practise. The Makeup Artist course involves creativity and precise handicraft work. The various practise assignments are part of the training and are challenging. Often the assignments require hairdressing skills as well as makeup artist skills. This course is especially suited to those seeking an artistic and social profession.
Our course teaches the basic skills for hairdressing professional examination, as well as quality hair extension methods, braiding and dreadlocks. The basic examination is updated every 4-5 years to keep up with work-place developments. Eye-lash lengthening is also included in the program. A visit to the facilities of YLE TV introduces students to makeup in a real setting giving a new perspective to students.

Unemployment Benefits
Now you can study without losing your unemployment benefits.
From the beginning of 2010 educational opportunities have been broadened. Unemployment benefits can be paid during self study education.
The support of self study education requires the Office of Employment and Commerce to make an employment policy decision. Self study education can be supported by unemployment benefits for students 25 and older. Self study education is for example the completion of a professional certification.
If the decision is positive, the student may also apply for support of their educational loans.
Many of our graduates have had unemployment benefits and many current students are supported.
