Unemployment Benefits

Now you can study without losing your unemployment benefits

From the beginning of 2010 educational opportunities have been broadened. Unemployment benefits can be paid during self study education.

The support of self study education requires the Office of Employment and Commerce to make an employment policy decision. Self study education can be supported by unemployment benefits for students 25 and older.  Self study education is for example the completion of a professional certification.
If the decision is positive, the student may also apply for support of their educational loans.
Many of our graduates have had unemployment benefits and many current students are supported.
