The school was registered in December 1996 and began to function in  Tampere on Yiopistonkatu in 1997. The key administrative personnel have been in place for the entire history of the school. The business has a strong base of know-how in offering educational products as well as in handling the business end of operations. From the beginning, we have prepared students for professional certification in Massage and for Hair care, which are examinations falling under the fields of health and social services as well as beauty care.

Beauty care field

Our institute prepares students for the official massage therapist professional examination. Examinations approved by the director of training have a lot of weight in selection for further education, in the labour market, pay grades and professional certification.

The professional examination in massage is an official examination, which is updated every 4-5 years to stay current with the working world. The principles of the examination are produced by an examination committee named by the Ministry of Education.
Our students are entitled to receive Study Grant from KELA.

We offer multi-faceted education that answers the challenges of the work-place in Finland and internationally. We support our students' transition into the workplace by offering opportunities for apprenticeship. Based on general monitoring, the employment of our graduates has remained consistent. Employers value wide ranging know-how and professional skills. Those who have established private practises have received a good basic education at our school. In addition to professional skills, we teach the basics of entrepreneurship giving the foundation for starting a business and making a business plan.
The school aims at keeping up with the times. From the beginning, we have cultivated international contacts and developed supplementary courses alongside of the basics. By taking advantage of the supplementary courses, students can become trained in several fields at the same time. In fact, we have developed this type of combined training as the first in Finland.

We continue to develop our educational offerings and international contacts. Our students make educational trips to England. Having partners and networking are essential in the educational field. With cooperation, we have the opportunity to create new opportunities and to help each other develop our activities. We cooperate with the public as well as with the private sector.

In many ways, the school has supported its graduates: Workplaces, letters of recommendation, and placements in further education in Finland and around the world. Customer service is an important part of training and we want to give a great vote of thanks for our school's customers, because without hands-on practise it would not be possible to develop professional skills.

Our Institute has an enthusiastic and creative staff who wants to offer our students quality training and the opportunity to learn in a safe and trustworthy environment. The city of Tampere gave us an award in 2000 for our creativity and self-sufficiency.
