The Carl Wilhelm Academy personal trainer knows how to plan, execute and monitor, an exercise program, over an extended time frame. The Pt also guides a diet program to support the exercise program. Muscle care is designed with an individualized exercise plan to facilitate recovery and maintain development.

The Personal Trainer assists the client in clothing fitness promises in action. Planned and individualized advice, direction and support help the client achieve their goals for fitness, weight control and endurance. Personal trainer services suit individuals, companies, all ages and sizes who are interested in exercise and its benefits.

Massage-Sports massage-personal trainer fees:
The course fee is 5 000 Euros (includes VAT 23%) + demonstration examination (summer 2011 380 Euros). Course fees include instructional material binder.  Text books (2) are the student's responsibility. Examination fee is to be paid before taking the examination.

Course fees are paid in 6 instalments. The first instalment of  500 Euros is a reservation fee for the course and is to be paid within 2 weeks of acceptance for the course. The following instalments, 2-6, will come due on the first day of the month starting 1 Feb. 2012. Course fees can be divided into more instalments with a separate individual contract.

If it is necessary to cancel your participation in the course, the reservation fee can be refunded up to one week before the beginning of classes, after which no refunds will be made.

For written work, the student needs to have access to a computer running  Microsoft Office or Microsoft Open Office word processing software.

The school will send payment forms for fees.

The school will offer needed assistance in arranging housing for the student. The student is responsible for rental costs.

Financial support

Financial support

Our students are covered by KELA's student support program.
Student support helps students financially to get ahead. In many private educational institutes students are not covered by student support and thus must bear all costs themselves. The students of Carl Wilhelm Academy have the right to student support for the entire time they are enrolled.

A student wanting support must fill out the Student support application and send it to the school properly filled out. The student support application form can be printed from KELA's Internet pages.

Strength and endurance exercises:

  • Effects of differing kinds of strength and endurance exercises
  • Exercise program creation, programming, and individual direction. Actualization of individual and group exercise programs
  • Improving exercise effects and timing
  • Type analysis and long term programming in different sports

Muscle care:

  • Active and passive stretching
  • The effects of massage on recovery
  • Planning and timing of a muscle care program

Active exercises:

  • Varying gym exercises to assist activity
  • The significance of the body's core support in exercise
  • Practical exercise and the planning of activities

Fitness testing:

  • The basics of fitness testing and body structure measurements

Nutrition:

Examination:
In addition to the above a final project which will consist of developing a plan according to the wishes of a client for a nutrition and exercise program (fitness gym exercises and endurance exercise) and their monitoring.
Graduation from the Personal trainer program requires attendance in the lessons, completion of outside assignments, final project as well as written and practical demonstration exams.
